Purchase terms, conditions and delivery

1. Shipping

All orders are shipped from our Design Zola’s warehouse in Montréal, Québec. If Design Zola has your product in stock, we will email you a shipping notice confirming that the items will be shipped to you; that notice is our acceptance of your order. In-stock orders normally will be delivered within 10 business days of placing your order. Out-of-stock orders will ship once the item is back in stock. We will send you the shipping notice once the item is back in stock and has been shipped.
Small items will be shipped through trusted courier companies like Fedex or Purolator. Furniture and all large items are delivered using our specialized “white glove” shipping service. For urgent deliveries or special requests, kindly leave a note in the comment box when placing your order or contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

We reserve the right to limit quantities available for sale or sold or to reject, correct cancel or terminate any order for any reason whatsoever. If the price of any product you order was incorrectly displayed on our Website, we will provide you with an opportunity to place an order at the correct price.

Our Website is an invitation to you to make offers to purchase products and services and cannot be considered as offers to sell. Your completed and delivered order form constitutes your offer to purchase the products or services mentioned in your order. Your order will be deemed to be accepted only if and when we send a shipping notice email to your email address. That shipping notice email constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a legally binding contract with Design Zola.

The total price of your order will be charged on your credit card or any other method of payment you provided to us, when our shipping notice email has been sent to you. Once our shipping notice email has been sent to your email address, you will therefore not be allowed to cancel the order and the sale contract will be considered final and binding.

All the information you provide through the Website, including registration information (name and email address), payment information (credit card numbers and expiration dates), and transaction-related information must be true, accurate, current and complete. You will be solely liable for any and all loss, damage, and additional costs that you, we or any other person may incur as a result of your submission of any false, incorrect or incomplete information or your failure to update your registration information and payment information within 30 days of any change.

2. White Glove Service

For furniture deliveries, we provide you with more than just delivery to your home. We will open, assemble, and inspect the product for you. Our delivery teams are careful to protect your product and your home during delivery. Our delivery team will contact you to arrange for a delivery time and date. If you need to reschedule within less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you are not home when our delivery team arrives, an additional delivery fee will be payable before we reschedule your next delivery or you can choose to pick up your product from our warehouse location. The day before delivery, we will call you with a 3-hour time frame during which you can expect our team. The recipient present at time of delivery must be of legal age.

3. Gift Cards

Gift cards cannot be exchanged or reimbursed and are considered a final sale. Gift cards are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.

4. Damaged Items- Gift Items

We are very diligent in packing shipments so that they sustain no damage during transport and arrive safely. When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely. If there is a problem with your order, contact us within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. It is your responsibility to note any damages on the proof of delivery receipt and we will not be held responsible for any damages not documented and not declared within 24 hours of receipt.

In the event that an item is received damaged, we will ask you to send us three (3) photos of the damages for our records to assist us in taking appropriate action. If the product turns out to be damaged during transportation, we reserve our right to exchange it or reimburse you, to our own discretion. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Shipping and delivery charges are not refundable. However, we will pay the extra shipping and delivery charges if the product is defective.

5. Pricing on the website

All prices displayed on the www.design-zola.com website are quoted in Canadian Dollars and are valid only for online purchases in Canada. Please note that prices may vary between online pricing and in store pricing. You will be responsible for all applicable taxes, regardless of the amount quoted on this website at the time of your order.

6. Colors

We have done our best to display the colors of the products shown on this website as accurately as possible. However, the colors you see will depend on your monitor. We cannot guarantee that your monitor will display the colors accurately. Most of our products are unique, hand crafted items made from natural materials like wood, stone or metal and thus variations in color are common and, in fact, add to the character of the product.
